In August 2003, Beneath a Steel Sky was made available for free download and is now classed as freeware. Local copies of the files needed to play the game are available below.

Beneath a Steel Sky, Freeware Floppy Version (7.3M)

The latest sources and resource files are also available at http://www.scummvm.org/downloads, along with the SCUMMVM itself, an engine required to play these versions of the game.
