The Very End of You’ is the final form of the Arena Eternal. In it you face Xaero, lord of the arena. After aeons of battle Xaero has let go of all conception and become one with the nature of the arenas, and seeks an honourable death at the hands of a worthy opponent to take on his title and become the new lord. Xaero is a disciplined fighter with excellent aim, and will hit you with a slug from the railgun in milliseconds should you be too slow.

A Capture the Flag version of this level was created for Quake III: Team Arena as MPQ3TOURNEY6: Beyond Reality, with the moving platform removed and the megahealth teleporter platform replaced with a larger one that bears a closer resemblance to the other two featuring a Quad Damage. It is the only map in Team Arena that contains the Quad. The deathmatch version of this arena does not appear in Quake Live, but the mission pack version appears as QZCTF6: Beyond Reality II. Although the Quake Live version is textured for CTF it can be played in the deathmatch and team game types.

This level consists of two large, identical platforms filled with sturdy pillars linked by jump pads and a fast moving platform that continually slides back and forth between them. A third stationary platform appears adjacent to the moving one, upon which sits a megahealth and a teleporter which will take you back to one of four random locations elsewhere in the level. Above these is a fourth suspended platform on which sits the BFG10K, accessible only via a second set of jump pads. A spinning target disc above all other features of the level sets an alarm and drops a crusher block on the BFG platform, so if you're lucky enough to make it there without being railed into dead space, you'll have to be quick to leave.

The personal teleporter and the red armour appear in alternating sequence between the acceleration pads linking the two platforms. Of the two the personal teleporter tends to come in more useful here, as in the majority of the other space arenas, where it's all too easy to be knocked into the void and have need of a lifeline.

Tourney6 provides a level playing field to square off in simple duel matches, freed from the distractions and imbalances of the tournament arenas that preceded it and as clear and focused as its owner. The railgun tends to dominate here due to the openness of the level, but there's much more room for intellect and strategy here than it may first appear. There's great gaming to be had here in the standard version, and even more on its Capture the Flag conversions in team arena and Quake Live.

There are no secrets in this level.
