Demon Keep is another of Quake Live's standard (that is, free) levels, lovingly restored from the original Quake III level set, where it appeared with an almost identical structure. It's notable as the only level in which you can retrieve the premium award Resource Hog, by collecting the Quad Damage and Battle Suit at the same time, which sit at opposite ends of the arena, the former suspended in the lower levels of the keep upon the bridge pictured above, and the latter in the outdoor area surrounding the building.

The only changes in this new edition are to speed up gameplay and avoid some of the more frustrating points in the level, removing traps and adding a couple of jump pads here and there. Please refer to the original review of Q3DM15 for more detail.

There are no secrets in this level, but there's a rather gruesome nod to former id Software employee Eric Webb in the lower sections of the level, and a small recess in the wall of the lava pit containing a cache of BFG cells and a personal teleporter. The teleporter niche is often used as a last-stand hideout during Clan Arena games, and is worth checking if your opponent is nowhere to be seen.
